Deb Haaland was one of 350 Action’s first endorsements. Her platform calls for a transition to 100% renewable energy. She has pledged to stand against all new fossil fuel infrastructure and for the rights of Indigenous peoples opposing the construction of pipelines in their homelands.

She is a proud member of the Laguna Pueblo, and is poised to be the first Native American woman ever elected to Congress. As chairwoman of the New Mexico Democrats, she helped progressives take back the state legislature in 2016.
