Friends,
Monday morning, we’re going to be paying a visit to Sen. Mary Landrieu, who’s leading the charge to force Congressional approval of Keystone XL.
At 8 AM, 350 DC will stand with landowners and leaders from the pipeline route at Sen. Landrieu’s Capitol Hill home, where we will raise our giant inflatable pipeline with a simple message: tar sands pipelines like Keystone XL don’t belong in anyone’s back yard.
We need a crowd to underscore the point that supporting Keystone XL in the midst of the hottest year in history is simply unacceptable. Can you be there Monday at 8 AM? Click here to RSVP: facebook.com/events/607831932662339/
Here are the details:
What: Tell Sen. Landrieu: No Keystone XL in Anyone’s Back Yard!
When: Monday, November 17th, 8 AM
Where: Outside Sen. Landrieu’s DC home, 405 East Capitol Street SE Washington, DC
Who: 350 DC, landowners and activists from the Keystone XL route
Sen. Landrieu has taken millions from the fossil fuel industry, and she’s doing everything she can to get Keystone XL approved in the coming week. We need to show her fellow Senators that standing with Big Oil on Keystone XL will be met with real protest — that doesn’t quiet down or go away.
Can you be there Monday at 8 AM to send a message to Sen. Landrieu and the rest of Big Oil’s friends in Congress?
